Lake Apopka Fishing Lures
Lake Apopka Fishing Lures
Since the early 1970's soft plastic worms have been the bait of choice for all kinds of freshwater fishing, especially bass! Our Lake Apopka Lures brand offers four different styles of soft plastic worms. For old school fishermen we have two tried and true designs. We have the Lake Apopka Lures Hook Tail (the original soft plastic worm) in all the best color combinations. Our second "Retro" lure is our ten inch longtail worm which is still the fishing standard for a big worm to catch a big fish.
The updated version of our 10 inch worm is our 7 inch soft plastic curly tail. This medium weight worm is large enough to accommodate any kind of rigging but still light enough for an experienced angler to use as a finesse bait.
Our newest lure is our Paddle Tail. You can rig them weedless or buzz them across the top of the water.
Like all Lake Apopka Lures our soft plastic worms are made with the highest grade durable plastic and the brightest most consistent colors. These are pro quality lures, but not just for pros.
If you're the kind of fisherman who likes to stay busy working the line Lake Apopka ten inch Long Tail soft plastics  are the lure you want to throw. The're super for freshwater flipping and pitching. This worm is the perfect bait if want to make a bass that is hiding in the deep grass bite. Cast our Emerald Blues into the shoreline grass and smoothly reel them back towards you. These worms are fabulous when the bass are in a fiesty mood. The soft plastic version of an inline spinner. The long tail makes It twist and rotate flipping through the water on the retrieve.
Hook Tailed worms have been around since the soft rubber lures of the late 1950's. New worm designs have come and gone since the invention of the hooktail, but these lures never fail. Lake Apopka Hooktails come in thirty-four colors from ultra bright plum yellow tail to natural colors like watermelon seed. Whether the water is crystal clear or muddy as a sinkhole we have the worm that works.
They have ribbon like tails that flip going through water. This creates turbulence that fish feel running across the sides of their bodies. This soft plastic worm gives the angler many options to choose from. When fishing for Black Bass, dead stick these worms and have a soda while you wait to pull them in.
Lake Apopka 7 inch Curly Tail soft plastic worms are the perfect all around lures. They are thick bodied so as to handle almost any type of rigging you choose including a jig head.
Want to make a big splash in your next tournament? Throw one of our 8 inch Paddle Tailed soft plastic worms. Use them when drift fishing and the paddle whips the dickens out of the water.
Their big flapping tails vibrate so intensely that no fish can ignore them. Try these lures with a Texas rig and a quarter ounce weight. As you crank these in you'll feel the heavy paddle tail pumping. We suggest these as fresh water worms because the're extra effective when fishing for bass.
