The newest addition to the Lake Apopka Lures product line are our soft plastic ball tail shads. This is a medium to heavy weight lure featuring an extra thick body which you can use with almost any size jighead or hook. These are for both freshwater and saltwater use. The saltwater colors, like all our Lake Apopka saltwater lures have hardener added to them to help withstand the rigors of saltwater fishing. This toughness comes in handy when an aggressive ocean fish is nibbling but not quite ready to strike. Our unique ball tail design creates a tunnel wake as the current passes over the bait.
